If you’re new to Body by Berner movement, we recommend starting with Signature — our OG class and the best introduction to our method, movement style, and pace.
-
All Body by Berner classes offer progressions and added challenges, making them suitable for intermediate to advanced clients.
If you're looking to push intensity, Power Bern and Strength Cardio Bern are specifically designed for intermediate to advanced clients, combining strength, cardio, and athletic conditioning.
-
Up to 12 weeks pregnant, you may attend most Body by Berner classes.
Beyond 12 weeks, you may continue to attend classes, with modifications provided by our team of instructors to support you safely throughout your pregnancy.
We encourage you to move at a pace that feels right for your body and to listen to how you feel on the day.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class to inform your instructor of your pregnancy, so we can provide the appropriate support and modifications where needed.
-
Mums & Bubs Bern and Mums & Bubs Strength Bern are specifically designed for postnatal clients with babies 12 months and under, offering targeted support for core strength, pelvic floor recovery, and rebuilding strength after birth.
You are also welcome to attend Signature Bern, our OG open-level class, where modifications can be made to support your postnatal recovery.
Please ensure you have clearance from your healthcare provider before returning to exercise.
-
Our Breathwork and Sound Bath Bern classes are designed to help regulate the nervous system, reduce stress and create space to slow down and reconnect.
Classes may include guided breathwork, meditation, visualisation, gentle movement and sound healing using instruments such as crystal bowls.
Some clients leave feeling deeply relaxed and grounded, while others feel energised, emotional or mentally clearer — every experience is different.
No prior experience is needed. We simply recommend arriving with an open mind and wearing comfortable clothing so you can fully relax and reset.
-
To attend a group class following an injury, you’ll need clearance from your doctor or healthcare practitioner.
Our group classes are not designed for injury rehabilitation, so please let your instructor know about any current or recent injuries before class. Where appropriate, modifications can be provided.
If you experience pain or discomfort during class, or sustain an injury, please stop and notify your instructor immediately.
If you’re unsure whether a group class is suitable for your stage of recovery, we recommend seeking professional advice before attending. Private sessions may be a better option for clients who require more individualised support.
